Kelly’s journey in fiber arts began more than twenty years ago, but it wasn't until she took her first basketry class a few years ago that she discovered her true passion. From that moment on, she was hooked. Since then, Kelly has spent countless hours weaving, learning, and exploring the endless possibilities of basketry. It's fair to say she eats, sleeps, and breathes baskets.

The name 38 Baskets comes from the place Kelly calls home—38 degrees latitude—a reminder that inspiration is often rooted in where we live and what your community calls you to do.

Kelly loves encouraging others to take that first class and discover the satisfaction of creating something beautiful and useful with their own hands. Her hope is that every basket she creates brings both beauty and purpose into everyday life while celebrating one of the oldest traditions of human creativity.
