LANDSCAPE, BIRDS, AND TRAVEL
“Unless we live deep in a cavern, we are constantly bombarded with light waves of different lengths. With a camera, we can capture the effects of those light waves on our surroundings.”
Most of Creighton’s photos portray Sonoma County, Yosemite, and the Eastern Sierras, although he has also shot in Hungary, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Australia. Lately, he has been studying the nature of light waves in an effort to find new ways of experimenting with the camera. His work has been displayed at Creekside Cafe in Cotati, the Cotati Jazz Festival, the Sonoma County Fair, Honey Badger Coffee in Rohnert Park, Red Shoes Gallery in Santa Rosa, and the Holiday Craft Faire in Rohnert Park.
