VINTAGE PILLOW CASES
"Ever since I was a little girl, I had a thing for eye candy. Always drawn to vibrant color and interesting shapes, my memories of childhood revolve around art."
In 1991 Elaine had a deep revelation that she must create art. Since then she has spent any available time weaving, knitting, papermaking, book making, beading, painting, drawing, monoprinting and most of all creating collages and pillow cases Art had been her avocation until her recent retirement from a 40+ year career in information technology.
She converted the den of her Petaluma home into a studio and has been working on art ever since. She delights in diversity and the infinite complexity of our quantum, holographic, love-based universe.
Her collage art has been shown at: College of Marin, Kentfield, CA Marin County Fair, CA MarinMOCA (Museum of Contemporary Art), O’Hanlon Center Gallery in Mill Valley, Pelican Gallery in Petaluma, CA Petaluma Arts Center, Sebastopol Center for the Arts, CA Sonoma Collage Collective at Sonoma Library, Sonoma Marin Fair, Connecticut Graphic Arts Center in Norwalk, CT, and the A.I.R. Gallery in New York, NY
